Texas buyer representation workflow guide

Start the buyer relationship with a clear decision—not a default form.

A strong buyer-representation workflow keeps the relationship conversation, brokerage process, confirmed facts, open questions, and next action together before private form review.

Scope reminder: This is workflow information, not legal, tax, lending, or brokerage advice. HomeOfferFlow does not select an agreement, interpret terms, send a document, or create a signature request from this guide.

A simple four-step order

1
Confirm the relationship conversation.
Keep the buyer, transaction intent, brokerage process, and known facts together before choosing a private-review path.
2
Choose deliberately.
Use the brokerage-approved process to choose the authorized Long Form or Short Form. Do not silently default a client into either agreement.
3
Separate facts from follow-up.
Organize confirmed scope, market, dates, compensation, and signer-plan details. Keep unknowns visible for the appropriate follow-up instead of guessing.
4
Prepare private review, then follow the approved process.
Use the signed-in workspace for the available private review path. Review, delivery, and any signature action remain separate brokerage-approved steps.

What HomeOfferFlow can do today

Every signed-in agent can open released private-review workflows for TXR-1501 Residential Buyer/Tenant Representation Agreement — Long Form and TXR-1507 Residential Buyer/Tenant Representation Agreement — Short Form from the shared library. The agent chooses the path; the workspace does not substitute one agreement for the other.

These are private-review workflows. They do not send an agreement, create a signature request, or make a representation decision for an agent, broker, or client. Use the brokerage-approved process for authorization, review, delivery, and signature handling.

Before private review

Clear answers for agents and brokers.

Does HomeOfferFlow select Long Form or Short Form?

No. The agent must deliberately choose the authorized form under the brokerage-approved process. HomeOfferFlow does not preselect or substitute a buyer representation agreement.

Can every signed-in agent open the private review path?

Yes. Released shared-library workflows are available to every signed-in agent. The private-review path stays separate from delivery and signature actions.

What should I have ready?

Keep the buyer identity, intended transaction, brokerage process, requested representation scope, market or property context, term, compensation discussion, and open questions organized. Mark unknowns for follow-up rather than guessing.
